Mayfield House Kindergarten
Unique and creative full day care and nursery education- based on natural and traditional care and education for the WHOLE CHILD, healthy food- fresh home grown and home cooked from baby purees onwards. Nurturing and enabling environment and highly experienced staff. Physically active and outdoor lifestyle: from baby yoga to gymnastics, swimming and days in own forest and allotment. Creative curriculum encouraging drama, dance, music and expressive craftwork. Hands on experiential learning.

Our ethos and curriculum have been influenced by the philosophies and teaching styles of Froebel, Montessori, High Scope and Reggio Emilio, and more recently through contributing to E.E.L. (The Effective Early Learning Research Project).
