Since the beginning of the year a small group of children on a Thursday morning have been learning how to swim, they have done really well and have gained their first certificate. WELL DONE CHILDREN.
The children have been busy preparing, planting and looking after the fruit and vegetables on the allotment. It is all growing well and we are looking forward to tasting some produce.
August always brings sad and happy times, we say goodbye to all the children who are going to school and wish them all the best as they continue their journey. Before the children left for school we welcomed 9 new chickens, the children really enjoyed visiting the chicken farm to collect them and then ensuring they were safe in their new home.
A few of the children visited the pet shop today and were really excited to see the rabbits.
We are having a really exciting summer, welcoming new children and sadly saying goodbye to children who are starting their big school journey.
We enjoyed celebrating the Queens 90th Birthday with a garden party and fortunately the weather stayed nice and dry.
We have been learning about planting new seeds and growing vegetables both in our new part of the garden and down on our allotment. We have a big Pumpkin growing on the allotment, will it big as our award winning pumpkin from a couple of years ago? we will have to wait and see.
On a Monday Morning we have had lots of fun with Moo Music sessions. We have a made a new friend in Maggie Moo and love to sing and dance with her and before she goes home she gives lovely big hugs.
